Since the COVID-19 shelter-in-place order, I have been offering yoga classes online. To join public classes offered LIVE via Zoom, please click here or on your preferred class (listed in the table below) to reserve your spot. *For 7:30 a.m. classes, please reserve by 7:30 p.m. the evening prior. For all other classes, please reserve 90 minutes before class.
Suggested donation/payment for virtual public classes offered via Zoom is five dollars $5-10/class ($10 if you’d like me to record the practice and allow you to download it), or $25 for a whole month of virtual yoga! One ($1) of every five ($5) dollars donated for for Kids/Family practices will benefit GLOW: Girls Leading Our World, Inc.
To schedule a private virtual practice (either one-on-one or with whomever is “sheltering” at your place!) click here to arrange the time for your personalized/private group practice, and discuss donation/payment options. Feel free to include requests for longer/shorter “virtual yoga” practices (from as brief as fifteen (15) up to ninety (90) minutes). I can offer a variety of styles (from gentle to powerful), and practices can be tailored to meet your personal/group needs.

I am also NOW OFFERING PRIVATE individual or small group IN-PERSON Yoga, both INDOORS & OUTDOORS! My home allows for PLENTY OF SPACE to spread out and maintain recommended social distancing. If you’re still wary of in-studio classes but want to reconnect with yoga buddies, please contact me for more info about how to book a private individual or group class or to find out when I’m offering “public” (scheduled group) classes this summer and fall. My lot has several mature shade trees to protect the fair-skinned (like yours truly!) or, for those into “HOT Yoga,” the open expanse offers lots of room to soak up the sun.
AM Yoga
On Monday, Wednesday, & Friday mornings I offer Gentle Hatha Yoga. This practice is appropriate for practitioners of all levels, from beginners to advanced students. Though Hatha means “force,” it is a life-giving force, not a brute force. Begin your day with pranayama (breathing exercises) and asanas (the physical postures of yoga) that will both strengthen and soothe your body-mind.
PM Yoga
On Monday & Wednesday evenings I offer a “Lunar Flow” style class, to help you wring out any tension from the day and prepare your body-mind for a good night’s rest. Like the AM classes, this is a fairly gentle Hatha practice. However, “gentle” does not necessarily mean “easy!” Equal parts strength and stretch, this PM practice focuses on shape, safety, and alignment to help you build strength, balance, and focus. Use of props and wall space is encouraged so you can find greater ease and comfort or advance and deepen your practice as appropriate.
Hatha Mix
At 11AM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I invite you to mix it up and “strive for five!” Join me for a practice that incorporates 5 namaskars (a variety of sun/moon salutations), made accessible for practitioners of all levels. In addition to traditional Hatha principles, we explore fundamentals from a variety of yoga styles, from Ashtanga and Kundalini to Yin and Restorative. “Take five” to connect with your core, open your heart, and quiet your mind.
GLOW Family/ Community
Saturdays, at 11AM, I offer donation-based classes for “kids from 1 to 92!” Suggested minimum donation is $5-$10, and $1 of every $5 donated benefits Girls Leading Our World, Inc. (GLOW), a nonprofit serving girls at risk in Kansas City. I created this class to make yoga more accessible for individuals and families and to offer GLOW girls and volunteers a safe, healthy, and FUN weekend activity. The first Saturday of each month is a “Family First” weekend (tailored for kids ages 3+). Other Saturdays are All Levels Hatha Mix-style classes for adults/teens and school-aged boys and girls.
